What a long, strange trip it's been

First off, I must apologize for the long gap in updates. The last few months slipped away from me and I was not as attentive to the blog as I could have been, so thanks for sticking with me!

2016 was an incredible year of perpetual change, challenge and reward for me. My wife and I welcomed two new additions to our family — Mathew and Liliana our twins. We lost our dog Indy to cancer long before it was his time, and while working full-time took on more side work, on-call, hobbies and lifestyle change than any prior year previous. 

Through all of the victories, trials, celebrations, challenges, love, and hardships it's been a year I wouldn't trade for anything. Throughout 2016 I've been extremely fortunate to work with wonderful clients and have the opportunity to continue to photograph my growing family — and I'd like to share some of images with you:

Getting Everyone Together Is the Hardest Part!

I was asked last spring about the possibility of knocking out some family portraits for a friend of mine. She told me that it had been years since her whole family had gotten together for family portraits, and she wanted to give her parents an updated family shots now that the family has grown. Of course, I was happy to oblige! We were lucky in that everyone's schedule aligned and was able to make it for the shoot. Here's a few images from the day:
